Emergency and restoration fence rental across central Indiana

For the call that came in this morning, from a site that was fine yesterday.

Temporary fence panels around a cleared lot in an Indianapolis neighborhood Loss site, secured

After a tornado, a fire or a structural loss, the perimeter is the first thing an adjuster and a restoration contractor both need. We take emergency fencing calls across the Indianapolis metro and roughly eighty miles around downtown, and this part of the business was built for it rather than bolted on. Call and tell us where it is and how much of it needs closing.

Why the small company answers faster

A national branch routes an emergency through a dispatch queue. We do not have one. Richard takes the call, and the crew and the material are ours rather than allocated from a regional pool that has other markets to serve first.

That matters most in the first day. Securing a loss site quickly limits further damage and keeps people out, and every hour the site sits open is an hour of exposure for whoever owns it.

The commercial insurance package behind us is a full one: umbrella, general liability, commercial auto and workers compensation. Restoration companies and property managers ask for certificates before they let anyone on a loss site, and ours are in order.

How an emergency fence call runs

On day one nobody has a measured plan. The order below is built around that rather than around a tidy scope document.

01

Call, do not email

On emergency work the phone is faster and Richard answers it himself.

02

Tell us what is open

Rough linear feet and whether the ground is clear enough to drive posts. Nobody expects a measured plan on day one.

03

We set what we can today

Panels and stands go in fastest and can be adjusted once the site is assessed properly.

04

We firm the line up after

Post driven chain link where the perimeter has to hold for weeks, and windscreen where a loss site needs to be screened from the street.

05

We adjust as the work moves

Restoration sites change constantly. Change orders on site are normal and we would rather come out than have you work around us.

Site cleared, line set

Emergency fencing questions

The ones that come up on the phone every week, answered the way Richard answers them.

How fast can you get a fence on an emergency site?

Faster than the standard twenty four to forty eight hour window, and the honest answer depends on where the site is and what else is on the truck that day. Call and we will tell you a real time rather than a comfortable one, and if we cannot make it work we will say so on that call.

Do you work directly with restoration companies and adjusters?

Yes, and they are among our most frequent clients. Emergency restoration companies, their project managers and procurement agents make up a large share of this work, and net thirty terms are normal for accounts we have worked with before.

Can you send a certificate of insurance before we let you on the site?

Yes, and we expect to be asked. The commercial package is umbrella, general liability, commercial auto and workers compensation, which clears standard vendor requirements for restoration companies and property managers.

Nobody has measured anything yet. Can you still quote it?

Yes. On day one nobody has a measured plan and we do not expect one. Rough linear feet and whether the ground is clear enough to drive posts is enough to price it and get a crew moving.

Can you screen a loss site from the street?

Yes. Windscreen fitted across the run blocks the view into a fire or storm damaged property, which matters when the owner is dealing with neighbors and photographs as well as with the damage itself.

What if the perimeter has to change as the work moves?

That is normal on restoration sites and we would rather come out than have you work around us. Panels get a line closed on day one, and post driven chain link firms it up where the perimeter has to hold for weeks.

Tell us about the job
